Wellfleet Public Library presented by Addison Art Gallery

Paul Schulenburg has organized a group of artists to paint live model Skye Freyss- Cole at the Wellfleet Library as part of our month-long celebration of Bohemian Art. The public is invited to watch the painters at work, welcome to ask them questions as they progress, and to stay for extra time to explore the works and chat with the creators. Schulenburg's group reflects the long tradition of artists painting the figure together. In this age of Al, iPhones and Photoshop, the AddisonArt Gallery is especially pleased to open this intriguing viewing opportunity.

Paul Schulenburg is an internationally collected artist whose work has shown in the Hopper House Museum, twice in solo shows at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, and in many group exhibitions at CCMA, Provincetown Art Association and Museum, and Cahoon Museum of American Art. He has appeared over a dozen times in respected national art publications including a feature in Fine Art Connoisseur, as well as on the cover of American Art Collector. Schulenburg won the Patrons' Choice Award at the Copley Society of Art and was awarded a month-long residency at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. He is a juried member of Oil Painters of America and the Portrait Society of America.
